How do I navigate around on this CD-ROM to find what I need? |
Click from one of the categories listed in the left hand column of this page. This will open up all the different Java Applet Categories listed under that category. The Java Applets will be listed complete with a description. Simply click [View SoureCode] to see an example of the Applet and also the Code and the .Class files needed to run this Applet this section is just a small example of Total Java Applets 99 that will be released in Winter of 1999 so keep an eye out for it. How do I use the Java Applets? |
To use the Java Applets simply just CUT-N-PASTE the source code into your HTML document through NOTEPAD or some type of EDITOR if that is what you use. We have listed each script and also given a sample page to see how the Applet looks in action. Read the tutorial of each Applet because they all require different parameters. Java Applets require external .CLass files to make them work. Some require just one file while others may require 5 or 6 files unlike Java Script which requires just cut-n-paste code. | |

How do I copy Java Applets? |
Simply click inside the window below, use your cursor to highlight the script, and copy (type Control-c or Apple-c) the script into a new file in your text editor (such as NotePad or SimpleText) and save (Control-s or Apple-s). The Applet script is yours! The copy the external .Class files to the directory of your HTML file. | |
